Sunday Shades at FWE HK 2025: What a Weekend to Remember
After our first foray into Hong Kong earlier this year at HK100 Ultra 2025, we were thrilled to be back — this time at the Fitness and Wellness Expo (FWE), held alongside the adrenaline-fueled HYROX HK 2025 at AsiaWorld-Expo.
From the moment the crowd streamed in, the energy was off the charts. HYROX brought the fire (and the sweat), FWE brought the lifestyle buzz, and Sunday Shades? We brought the sunnies — and a whole lot of fun.
Even though we're still new to the scene in Hong Kong, the response blew us away. We met so many first-time customers, longtime followers who were excited to see us in person, and even a few familiar faces from earlier events. A huge shoutout to our Hong Kong ambassadors for showing up in full force and helping others find their perfect pair.
And speaking of familiar faces — we got a surprise visit from none other than Yvonne, our very own Sunday Shades ambassador from Singapore. She had just finished her race but still made time to drop by, flash her signature grin, and show off her shades with pride. It was one of those moments that made the weekend extra special.
Throughout the event, one thing we kept hearing over and over was:
“Finally, sunglasses that actually fit!”
That hit home for us. At Sunday Shades, we’ve always been about creating performance shades that are not just stylish and lightweight, but also thoughtfully designed to fit Asian facial profiles — no slipping, no bouncing, no constant adjusting. And in Hong Kong, that message clearly resonated. It was amazing to see the reactions when people tried them on and realized, “Oh wow, these actually stay on!”
And then there was our “ShadeItOff” Challenge — which started as a fun idea and quickly turned into one of the most talked-about things at our booth. The premise was simple: put on a pair of Sunday Shades and try to shake them off. You could dance, jump, flail — go absolutely wild. If the shades came off, you’d win a free pair.
Let’s just say… it wasn’t easy.
We saw everything from full-body wiggles to interpretive kung fu, but our shades stayed put. A few people did manage to knock them loose (barely!) and walked off with their prize — and serious bragging rights. But for most, it became a hilarious reminder of just how snug our sunglasses really are. The booth was packed with laughter, cheering, and some extremely questionable dance moves. We loved every second of it.
To everyone who came by the Sunday Shades booth — whether you were there to race, spectate, shop, or just hang out — thank you. You made our second outing in Hong Kong an unforgettable one. From the support to the selfies to the shared laughs, we felt truly welcomed by the community here.
We’re already looking forward to more events, more collabs, and more chances to meet you all again. One thing’s for sure — we’ll be back real soon.
